Coach Ready Privacy Policy

Coach Ready is a fitness, wellness, and athletic-performance management application provided by Next Level Sports Medicine LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how Coach Ready handles information and the choices and responsibilities of its users.

1. Information Used by Coach Ready

Coach Ready allows coaches, teams, schools, organizations, and other authorized users to enter and manage information such as:

Coach or organization name
Team names, sports, and coach names
Athlete names, sports, positions, jersey numbers, height, and weight
Team membership information
Readiness assessments and Ready Scores
Wellness questionnaire responses
Sleep information
Training sessions, duration, perceived exertion, and workload
Daily reflection influences and responses shared with or entered through Coach Ready
Fitness-testing results and performance baselines
Custom fitness metrics
Dashboard, trend, workload, reflection, and team calculations

This information is entered or imported by the user and is used to provide Coach Ready’s roster-management, tracking, calculation, trend, backup, transfer, export, and sharing features.

2. Local Data Storage

Coach Ready stores its primary information locally on the user’s device. We do not operate a server that automatically receives or stores Coach Ready coach, organization, team, athlete, wellness, sleep, training, reflection, or fitness information.

Coach Ready does not currently require an online account or login.

References in the app to a Coach Ready “account” generally refer to the locally stored Coach Ready workspace, profile, teams, athletes, and associated information on that device—not to an online account maintained on our servers.

The device’s operating system or a device-backup service selected by the user may include app information in a device backup. Those backups are controlled by the user and the applicable platform provider, such as Apple, under that provider’s terms and privacy policy.

3. Coach and Organization Responsibilities

Coach Ready is designed to allow a coach or organization to maintain information concerning athletes under its supervision.

The coach, school, team, organization, or other user entering, importing, or maintaining athlete information is responsible for:

Having an appropriate reason and authority to use the information
Providing any notices required by applicable law or organizational policy
Obtaining any required athlete, parent, or guardian permissions
Limiting access to authorized individuals
Protecting the device and exported files
Responding to appropriate athlete or parent requests concerning information maintained by the coach or organization

Users should not enter or import information they are not authorized to possess or use.

4. Athlete Reflections

Coach Ready may allow an athlete to complete a daily reflection using a coach’s device. Reflection information completed directly in Coach Ready is visible to the coach operating that Coach Ready installation.

Athletes who are not comfortable sharing a reflection with a coach should skip the optional reflection or complete it separately in Athlete Ready, where applicable.

When an athlete shares information from Athlete Ready, Coach Ready is designed to import only reflection information included in the transfer file. Athlete Ready users control whether their written reflection is included when creating a transfer.

Once reflection information has been shared with or entered into Coach Ready, it may remain available to the receiving coach or organization until deleted from that installation.

5. Athlete Transfers and Imports

Coach Ready supports optional transfer features that may be used to:

Receive information from Athlete Ready
Send an athlete profile and history to Athlete Ready
Share an athlete record with another Coach Ready user
Import information from another Coach Ready installation

The user chooses whether to create or import a transfer, the method used to share it, and the recipient. Transfers may be shared through services available on the user’s device, such as AirDrop, Messages, email, Files, cloud storage, or the iOS Share menu.

Depending on the type of transfer, a file may contain:

Athlete profile information
Readiness, wellness, sleep, and workload records
Fitness tests, custom metrics, and baselines
Team or membership information
Coach-visible or athlete-approved reflection information
Identifiers used to recognize an athlete during future transfers

Coach Ready uses identifiers to help recognize transferred athletes and reduce accidental duplication or merging. Users are responsible for reviewing the athlete identity, destination team, possible matches, conflicts, and transfer contents before completing an import.

Coach Ready does not automatically transmit athlete information to another coach, athlete, team, school, organization, or Coach Ready installation without a user-directed action.

Users should send transfer files only to trusted recipients. Copies may remain in Messages, email, Files, cloud storage, downloads, backups, or on a recipient’s device after being shared. Coach Ready cannot control or delete copies held by recipients or third-party sharing services.

6. Backups, Exports, and Dashboard Sharing

Coach Ready may allow users to:

Create complete backups
Restore information from backups
Export athlete or team information as a spreadsheet
Share dashboard images
Create athlete transfer files

These files are created at the user’s direction. The user controls where they are stored and with whom they are shared.

Exported files may contain personal, fitness, wellness, sleep, training, reflection, roster, and performance information. Users should review exported information before sharing it and should protect these files appropriately.

Deleting information from Coach Ready does not automatically delete information contained in a previously created backup, transfer, spreadsheet, dashboard image, message, email, or other exported copy.

7. Demo Data

Coach Ready may offer optional demonstration data so users can explore the app’s features.

Demo athletes, teams, and records are fictional. Users can remove available demo data using Coach Ready’s in-app controls without intentionally deleting their separately entered information.

8. In-App Purchases and Pro Access

Coach Ready may offer optional Pro features through an Apple In-App Purchase.

Purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive or store the user’s complete payment-card or banking information.

Coach Ready may receive or evaluate information supplied through Apple’s StoreKit system, such as:

Whether a purchase is verified
Whether the Pro product is currently owned
The app’s original purchase or download information
Information needed to restore a purchase or determine eligibility for introductory, preview, founding-member, or temporary access

This information is used only to provide, restore, and manage access to Coach Ready features.

Apple’s handling of purchase and payment information is governed by Apple’s terms and privacy policy.

9. Data Collection by Us

Coach Ready does not currently:

Send Coach Ready athlete records to a developer-operated server
Operate a cloud database containing Coach Ready team or athlete records
Use advertising networks
Sell personal information
Use personal information for targeted advertising
Track users across apps or websites
Use third-party analytics services
Automatically share athlete information with other coaches, teams, schools, or organizations
Access Apple Health or HealthKit information

If these practices change in a future version, we will update this Privacy Policy and the applicable App Store privacy disclosures.

10. Data Retention and Deletion

Information stored inside Coach Ready remains on the user’s device until the user:

Deletes individual records
Deletes an athlete or team through available app controls
Deletes demo data
Clears eligible processed transfer records
Restores different information
Uses the in-app “Delete Coach Ready Account & All Data” option
Removes the app and its associated local data from the device

The in-app deletion option permanently deletes locally stored Coach Ready workspaces, teams, athletes, memberships, readiness records, wellness records, sleep records, workload records, reflections, fitness tests, custom metrics, baselines, and received transfer records from the device.

This action cannot be undone unless the information exists in a separate backup or exported file.

Deleting local Coach Ready information does not automatically:

Delete previously exported backups, transfers, spreadsheets, or images
Delete copies held by athletes, coaches, organizations, or other recipients
Delete copies stored through Messages, email, Files, cloud storage, or device backups
Remove Apple’s purchase history

Apple purchases may remain restorable through the Apple ID used for the purchase.

Because we do not maintain a Coach Ready user database, we generally cannot access, retrieve, correct, or delete information stored only on a user’s device. Requests involving information maintained by a coach, team, school, or organization should ordinarily be directed to that coach or organization.

11. Data Security

We design Coach Ready to keep its primary information locally on the user’s device and to share information only when directed by the user.

However, no device, storage system, backup, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should:

Protect their devices with a passcode or biometric security
Limit device access to authorized individuals
Keep the device operating system up to date
Store backups and exports securely
Share transfer files only with trusted recipients
Verify an athlete’s identity before importing or merging information
Avoid sending sensitive information through unsecured channels
Delete files that are no longer needed

12. Children’s Privacy

Coach Ready may be used to maintain information concerning youth athletes.

We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through a developer-operated server. Athlete information is entered, imported, and maintained locally by the coach, team, school, organization, parent, guardian, or other person operating the app.

Coaches, schools, teams, and organizations are responsible for obtaining any permissions or consents required before collecting, entering, importing, sharing, or using information concerning a minor.

A parent or guardian should contact the applicable coach or organization regarding information about a minor stored in that party’s Coach Ready installation.

13. Health and Medical Disclaimer

Coach Ready is intended for educational, informational, fitness-tracking, coaching-support, and athletic-performance purposes only.

Coach Ready does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services. Ready Scores, wellness results, trends, baselines, workload calculations, reflection insights, and other feedback should not replace the judgment of a qualified healthcare professional.

Coaches and organizations should not use Coach Ready as the sole basis for medical, participation, return-to-play, or emergency decisions.

Users should consult an appropriate healthcare professional regarding medical concerns and should seek immediate medical assistance when necessary.

14. Third-Party Services

When users purchase features, share files, save exports, or back up information through services supplied by Apple or another provider, those services may process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for the privacy, security, retention, or deletion practices of an unaffiliated third-party service, coach, team, school, organization, athlete, or other recipient.

15. International Users

Coach Ready may be available in multiple countries or regions.

Users are responsible for determining whether collecting, maintaining, importing, or sharing athlete information is permitted under the laws, safeguarding requirements, consent requirements, and organizational policies applicable to them.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Coach Ready’s features, data practices, or legal obligations change.

The updated policy will be posted at this location with a revised “Last Updated” date. If a change materially affects how Coach Ready handles information, we will provide additional notice where appropriate.
