Athlete Ready Privacy Policy

Athlete Ready is a fitness, wellness, and athletic-performance tracking application provided by Next Level Sports Medicine LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how Athlete Ready handles information and the choices available to its users.

1. Information Used by Athlete Ready

Athlete Ready allows users to enter and manage information such as:

- Name, sport, position, jersey number, height, and weight
- Readiness assessments
- Wellness questionnaire responses
- Sleep information
- Training sessions, duration, and perceived exertion
- Fitness-testing results and performance baselines
- Custom fitness metrics
- Dashboard, trend, and workload calculations

This information is entered voluntarily and is used to provide Athlete Ready’s tracking, calculation, trend, backup, and sharing features.

2. Local Data Storage

Athlete Ready stores the user’s information locally on the user’s device. We do not operate a server that automatically receives or stores Athlete Ready profile, wellness, sleep, training, or fitness information.

Athlete Ready does not currently require an account or login.

The device’s operating system or a device-backup service selected by the user may include app information in a device backup. Those backups are controlled by the user and the applicable platform provider, such as Apple, under that provider’s terms and privacy policy.

3. Demo Data

Athlete Ready offers optional demonstration data so users can explore the app’s features. Demo data is fictional and is kept separate from information entered by the user where reasonably possible.

Users can remove demo data from within Athlete Ready without intentionally deleting their separately entered information.

4. Sharing Information With a Coach

Athlete Ready includes an optional “Share With Coach” feature. This feature creates a transfer file containing the athlete profile and selected Athlete Ready records.

The user chooses whether to create and share this file, the method used to share it, and the recipient. A transfer may be shared through services available on the user’s device, such as AirDrop, Messages, email, or the iOS Share menu.

Athlete Ready does not automatically send information to a coach, team, or Coach Ready installation.

When a transfer is imported into Coach Ready:

- A coach may review, store, and use the shared information.
- The coach may associate the information with an existing athlete or add the athlete to a team.
- Future transfers may be recognized using a permanent Athlete Ready identifier.
- Existing Coach Ready information is not intended to be replaced automatically without review.

Users should send transfer files only to trusted recipients. Transfer files may contain sensitive fitness, wellness, sleep, and performance information. Copies may remain in Messages, email, Files, cloud storage, downloads, backups, or on a recipient’s device after being shared. Athlete Ready cannot control or delete copies held by recipients or third-party sharing services.

The privacy practices of a coach, team, organization, messaging provider, email provider, cloud-storage provider, or other recipient are governed by that party’s own policies and practices.

5. Backups and Restores

Athlete Ready allows users to create a complete backup of their app information and restore information from a backup.

Backup files are created at the user’s direction. The user controls where a backup is stored and with whom it is shared. Backup files may contain personal, fitness, wellness, sleep, training, and performance information.

Users should protect backup files and store them only in secure locations. Deleting information from Athlete Ready does not automatically delete copies contained in previously created backups.

6. Data Collection by Us

Athlete Ready does not currently:

- Send Athlete Ready records to a developer-operated server
- Use advertising networks
- Sell personal information
- Use personal information for targeted advertising
- Track users across apps or websites
- Use third-party analytics services
- Automatically share athlete information with coaches or organizations
- Access Apple Health or HealthKit information

If these practices change in a future version, we will update this Privacy Policy and the App Store privacy disclosures as appropriate.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Information stored inside Athlete Ready remains on the user’s device until the user:

- Deletes individual records
- Deletes demo data
- Deletes an athlete profile or other information through available app controls
- Restores a different backup
- Removes the app and its associated local data from the device

Users are responsible for deleting separately saved backup and transfer files from Files, Messages, email, cloud storage, or other locations.

Information already shared with a coach or another recipient must generally be deleted by that recipient. Users should contact the recipient or organization directly to request deletion of information stored outside Athlete Ready.

Because we do not maintain an Athlete Ready user account or developer-operated database, we generally cannot access, retrieve, correct, or delete information stored only on a user’s device.

8. Data Security

We design Athlete Ready to keep its primary information locally on the user’s device and to share information only when directed by the user.

However, no device, storage system, backup, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should:

- Protect their devices with a passcode or biometric security
- Keep their operating system up to date
- Store backups securely
- Share transfer files only with trusted coaches or organizations
- Avoid sending sensitive information through unsecured channels

9. Children’s Privacy

Athlete Ready may be used by youth athletes under the direction or supervision of a parent, guardian, coach, school, or athletic organization.

We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through a developer-operated server. A parent or guardian should review and approve the entry or sharing of information for a minor and should determine whether a coach or organization is an appropriate recipient.

Coaches, schools, teams, and organizations are responsible for obtaining any permissions or consents required before requesting, receiving, or using information concerning a minor.

10. Health and Medical Disclaimer

Athlete Ready is intended for educational, informational, fitness-tracking, and athletic-performance purposes only.

Athlete Ready does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services. Scores, trends, baselines, workload calculations, and other feedback should not replace the judgment of a qualified healthcare professional.

Users should consult an appropriate healthcare professional regarding medical concerns and should seek immediate medical assistance when necessary.

11. Third-Party Services

When users share, save, or back up information through services supplied by Apple or another provider, those services may process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for the privacy, security, retention, or deletion practices of an unaffiliated third-party service or recipient.

12. International Users

Athlete Ready may be available in multiple countries or regions. Users are responsible for determining whether sharing athlete information with a coach, team, school, or organization is permitted under laws and organizational policies applicable to them.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Athlete Ready’s features, data practices, or legal obligations change.

The updated policy will be posted at this location with a revised “Last Updated” date. If a change materially affects how Athlete Ready handles information, we will provide additional notice where appropriate.
